I've recently managed to get hold of a nice large desk to replace the end of my computer table that had previously been my work-space. The abundance of space has encouraged be to try a bit of oil painting. These still life pieces are two of my more successful attempts:

Some sketches done in vine charcoal on some scrap paper, hence all the imperfections. The scans came out very stark on the white paper so I may try using a darker ground in the future.
